Leprechaun Kids Books for St. Patrick’s Day

Saint Patrick's Day is right around the corner. There are so many great St Patrick's Day picture books, we created a round-up with some of our favorite books for young readers! The stories are all darling, they are full of leprechaun traps, pots of gold, mischievous leprechauns, and so much more. These books are an easy and fun way to make the holiday a little more exciting. You might be able to find them at your local library, but I also included a link to each book in case you want to add a few to your book collection. They are all so darling!

Our St. Patrick's Day Tradition

When my kids were little their cousins told them to leave their shoes out on the Eve of Saint Patrick's Day. They said Leprechaun's would come and fill their shoes with goodies during the night, and they would wake up to a big surprise the next morning. It has become an annual St. Patrick's Day tradition. It is simple, and so fun for the kids. I like to include things like chocolate coins, a new book, Lucky Charms green cereal, a green drink like sprite or kool-aid, and a few little green things from the dollar store.
